Gi 義
Righteousness
Carry yours as a reminder to do the right thing, especially when nobody is watching.
Inspired by
Ōishi Kuranosuke · 1659–1703
When his lord was ordered to take his own life while the man who provoked him walked free, Ōishi led 46 other masterless samurai to set things right. For almost two years he played the drunken fool so nobody would suspect a thing, then struck. Japan still calls them the 47 righteous rōnin, and their graves in Tokyo are visited every day.
