Inspired by
Tsukahara Bokuden · 1489–1571
One of Japan's great swordmasters, said to have fought dozens of duels without ever losing one. On a ferry, a young swordsman boasted and demanded a fight. Bokuden agreed, on one condition: they would fight on a small island. The youth leapt ashore first, and Bokuden quietly pushed the boat away, leaving him stranded. He called it the school of winning without hands.
